We had winches, we just wanted to stabilize the rig ASAP because I had my camera and stuff right by the window that was almost in the water. So once we got straps on it so I could crawl in we hooked up some winches.
Went throught hte same exercise of "should I keep it and buggy it or swap everything over tomy wife's XJ?" Did the analysis, checked the rig over some more and decided it makes more sence to build my wife's Jeep. Then I can correct / change some of the things I did on my Jeep. I am actaully looking forward to it.....
Thanks Shark! Sorry to hear about your rig! Looks like it was more of a hardcore roll compared to mine, but none the less we both ended up with damage.
After stripping parts of the Jeep and running over the damage, it's clear the structure of the whole thing was severly compromised so I'm glad I went the route of building a new rig. I'll be doing this one better then the last. (Ironically enough this roll came 5 months after a "rebuild" and a ton of new stuff.)
