The new Rubicons get a 4:1 Rock Trac t-case right? this is a 241 case. Can anyone tell me if this would work behind a NV4500? I've got a Dodge Cummins 3/4 truck with a 241D and was wondering if the new rock trac would bolt up to it. Thanks.

No it will not. The NVG271 will however, these are the cases behind the new 600.... Besides, do you have ANY idea of the kind of things that would EXPLODE with a 4:1 in there???? :fuse: They are strong, but not that strong. A 271 from a ford will also fit and it does not have a slip yoke. The 241 D has held up quite well in my 98 12v 2500 4x4....and it has 330HP and 820# torque... Its a strong case.

so what you're saying is it wouldn't quite handle the torque of the cummins. Isn't there anything with a 4:1 that I can use in my RAM?
