Just spreadin' the word about this.
Tonight is the monthly cruise night at Raceway Park in Englishtown/Old Bridge, NJ. Last year they always set up a man-made rock crawl course, but due to lack of support from the venue, it hasn't happened yet this year.
However, there's now significant interest from the folks at New Egypt speedway, so arrangements were made to set up the crawl course again for tonight only. A local guy by the name of Kevin has spent the last two days arranging rocks, concrete, and other obstacles into what he says is the biggest course to date. If New Egypt gets the impression that there's a lot of participation from both spectators and drivers, they may very well take over the idea and build a permanent course there.
So if you've got nothing better to do, head over to Raceway Park this evening...starts sometime around 5, ends whenever people decide to leave, NO CHARGE to spectators or drivers. Plus, the usual car/truck show, burnout box, etc will be happening tonight as well.
