Riverside county M&G. Feb 17 @ Wahoo's

is it ok if i come by? just bought my jeep 2 weeks ago, and totally rebuilt the cooling system. so while its running i wanna see if i can mingle with other jeepaholics!
 
I finally got the engine all back together and it started right up on Sunday. Now I have this check engine light on. I am going to try to figure out the cause and if it is something minor or easily fixable then I will be at the M&G. If it is something big then I am not sure if I will have it fixed by this evening. I am keeping my finger crossed. I really want to make the M&G.

You are more than welcome to come even without a jeep. Its about the people too & just shooting the shit about XJ's and wheeling in general.
 
Looks like the rain has stopped now & its starting to clear up. I think the jeep gods are giving us a clear night for the M&G.

I can't really come without the Jeep. It is my only vehicle. My wife has the truck and she will be at work this evening. The engine is making no weird noises, so I am confident it is something minor. I had to disconnect the O2 Sensors to get the oil pan off and I may not have reconnected them right. It could also be the platinum spark plugs I put in it. I probably should have gone with the factory ones. I am very optimistic that I will make it tonight.
 
i was told to only put factory plugs in because like my moms ion her spark plugs ignite during combustion and exhaust cycles. those other plugs wont do the other spark so it put the light on. idk about jeeps though.....im afraid im going to have to gap them!!

If you use other than OEM plugs MJR (Mike Rollins) will have a cow!.....SANTA
 
Had a pretty good turn out. About 12 jeeps i think. Thankfully the rain stayed away and we able to mingle outside, just a little chilly.
Thanks to the OC boys, Santa & Johnny, for making the trip out.
Another fun Wahoo's M&G.
