Rink Report Game 4

Just off the phone with my daughter.

She reports the Sharks looked calm in the warm-up and had some smiles going. JR flipped her a practice puck and a wink on the way off the ice.

Just finished my 2nd cold one and am anxiously awaiting face off, the pre-game is going to have a Nabby report from Randy & Drew. Murray's interview was interesting when he stated that some of the Team hasn't brought their all and were pessimistic during the 1st two games.


Oh and GO SHARKS!!

I was really hoping for a Sharks Bruins final, but that's not looking so good right now.

I think it's time to trade Thornton, Marleau, and Nabokov for draft picks and prospects and just start rebuilding now so we can have another run within 5 years or so.

One of my daughters told me I should bring a large sign tomorrow saying

"You Owe the Fans an Apology"

I really don't think so. Back in November when folks sitting around me* were talking cup I reminded them to just enjoy the ride. Enjoy the entertainment and be happy with what we see in front of us. There is no quarantee that the number 1 team will win the cup, look at what the Sharks did to Detroit in 1994.

* These are the same folks that chide me for not being a Nabokov fan.

I enjoyed the season and now don't have to drive 100 miles round trip 2-3x per week.
