Rich Mountain Rally by Southern Jeeps

I don't know if this has been posted here or not. As many of you may know Rich Mt in North GA has been closed. Southern Jeeps is putting on a rally to drive up there with 500 vehicles to get the word out we want our trail back. If you would be interested in making the trek which is April 3rd go to www.southernjeeps.org and sign up for it. I am in no way in charge of this event so please ask all questions about it on Southern Jeeps website. Let's get the word out and be seen.

I know many of you have rode on these trails before. We need your support. It is one saterday that could change the coures of wheeling in georgia and help to perserve our way of life.

Is anyone gonna contact the local news/media? I would suggest it if you get at least a couple hundred attending. At least then, more ppl other than the rangers would know about it. Not sure yet if I'll make it, but I'll try.

so are they gonna hold this thing no matter how many actually show up? I'd hate to drive 3 hrs and get a baby sitter to have 10 ppl show and not have it after all.

As much as I would love to go, there is no way my boss will let me off. Makes me mad.

I would love to make it but as of right now some of us in the SE have to be in Tellico...but if things change we will be there.
