Tore the hose at the airbox, anyone replaced theirs with something else?

I highly doubt i can get a replacement from ARB in a timely fashion.

Cant think of where i'd be able to find some type of braided or spring enforced hose locally in that size....3" ID.

Any ideas?

You did say any ideas....

Dust collection hoses as might be found in woodworking shops. Don't know about 3", but the larger diams that i've used do have a molded steel spiral spring to prevent collapse.

Thanks Lou..

I cant remember seeing a rubberized hose in dust collection systems, i seem to recall canvas or a similar material?

If it is rubberized that just may work out well. Thanks again..

I am getting a new hose as I burned mine while using the plasma cutter on my fenders...whoops :flame:

I'm an ARB dealer so I just get one from them, but I think McMaster Carr has something similar without the cuffed ends....

I just sold one on ebay! Actually the folks that purchased it thought they were getting the whole snorkel (even though the ad specifically listed what was included (ARB prepped air box, Hose, and K&N filter.)) and may very well have no use for the hose. Perhaps you can contact them and buy my old hose off them? If you are interested, email me at [email protected] and I'll forward their email to you. Jeff

I completed redid how the ARB tubing is routed. Using some stock air tubing (you can get at Oriellys(sp?)), a PVC 6" coupler, 5" conical filter, and 2 6" to 3" reducers. Here is what it looks like now.
