Reiter on 30 Oct? (Sunday)

About 6 hours North for you.

Stock can handle some parts of it, but I'm planning on the Lk. Isabel trail, which has difficult spots. Gets awfully technical with some difficult lines.

I might be in for that.... Run up Sac up AND Issabel depending on the group size.

Reiter Pit is a few miles east of Gold Bar on hiway 2. This isnt my run but personally I wouldnt take a stock XJ up those trails, mainly for the ground clearance factor.

Stockers can park and ride with others like we did on our first runs through there. If someone doesn't think they can make it through a spot I really don't want to be stopping to coax them along.

We'll have to see what kind of group can make it up there before getting too excited about all that though.

I think you would be camping at one of our house the night before and after. I think it takes me a couple hours from Oly area. There are things for Stock XJ's to do.

On Sunday??

I'M IN. But why do I always end up driving to Reiter?

Oh well. I'M IN if anyone else comes.

Jason

Thats a really long drive. I saw a video on a section of Reiters. Yeah.. agree on the lack of clearance... lots of large rocks, and skinny trails. I'll think about going as the day draws closer.

Phil, I'm in. But you already knew that, huh?

Tentatively in!

Daddy needs new leaf springs though.

I'm up for it. Ive ran both sac-up and Izzy...

You got a spare window Mike, the 'mainline' on sac-up has ate 4 XJ windows for the last 5 runs...

Saw you asking about some Leaf Springs for sale. I want the Shackles. To avoid shipping, maybe we can meet this guy someplace or run up north to pick up the parts, and get lost on the way back.

Sign me up! It will be good to wheel with you again, Phil and to finally meet you, bullrack. Reiter is kind of crazy at night, but if there were a decent sized group I would entertain camping there Saturday night...any takers?

Same here Matt. Camping is always a possibility. :D

I am tentatively in also. I will let my brother and Scott know since they very rarely check the board.

I believe I was almost stock when I last ran Lk Issabelle. And do not remember it being too difficult, lots of large rocks? Plus the river crossing. But it has been several years since then.

I am not sure which trail Sac-Up is? Where is it relation to TA, the Wall, etc?

Not camping this time.
Michael

You can enter Sac up off of reiter road (goes down and through a creek right next to the road, .5MI from main pit, on left) or by going up stair step and down poop chute. The exit is on the logging road that goes up above the rock face, opposite the road to Izzy.
