Redbird Spring Fling and Vendor Days

Mark, could i convince you if I said I was bringing another handle of high quality liquid and we wont wake anyone with a firebomb.

I will once again be at the fire, but have to work during the day.

Wait, that's this weekend isn't it. We have plans for Friday and Saturday evenings already. SOrry fellas, have fun without me (impossible, I know.) I'll be expecting a drunken phone call.

Sorry I couldnt make it, I had to get a cortizone shot friday night for a problem with my arm and it had an adverse affect:wow: . Does anyone have any pics.

This on sums up my day at redbird, did you know the rain gutters can be ripped off if you hit them hard enough?

It appears that that your super duper patented BRIANHO13 super suction cup mirror has been relocated.

So who all showed up? From the pics, I'm not too upset I didn't make it!

Aw hell ... looks like you just lost the trim on it. Just take a pair of pliers and open up whats left of the rain gutter so you can get a pair of vice grips on it. Attach a chain repair link to the end of the vice grips so you can attach a ratchet strap to the end of it. Pull up aside a stout tree, hook the vice grips to the rain gutter, hook the strap onto the vice grips and wrap the strap around the tree up about the same level (or higher if necessary). Ratchet the slack out, then rock your Jeep and pull the dents out. Works great ...

... almost as good a buffing it out! :D

BTW: You still have glass anyway.

Glass is coming out, that back window made a nasty mess of my interior.... oh yeah my passenger rear door won't open either (I don't even know what tree did that to me), what do you think 4 half doors would look like?

Pat was the only other NAXJA'er that made it, he lost his hatch glass. All the dammage happened on trail 4. IT was not long wheelbase friendly.

The whole back half of mine has plexiglass ... I hate glass and the mess it makes. I was lucky my side glass was down when it busted earlier this month ... all of it was in the bottom of the door. I pushed the bigger dents out and actually put a replacement (junkyard) glass in it rather than plexiglass. IMO, the passenger side does not look terribly bad (ya get used to it). YOMV ... :D

Hopefully you'll be able to get that rear door open and tweek it enough it will open and shut OK. Winters get cold ...

Trail 4 never is and never will be long wheel base freindly, Thats why we like though right. Wish I could have been there:doh:.

that trail is damn tight in spots and has some crazy descents. it didn't matter what gear you were in or if you touched the brakes or not. the jeep just hopped and bounced down the hill, no traction at all.

what happened digger?

glass go boom:

Ooooooh boy, I'm glad I skipped this one... I'm still annoyed at myself for what I did the last time.
