I may truck down there with the fam-dam-ily in tow.
We have the kids that weekend, so they will be tagging along.
Likely my smelly, yellow dog as well.

Anybody have a few folding chairs or tables? I just realized that my seating options are somewhat sparce, so if ya got a comfy folding chair...Bring it! if not enough to share, then for your own bad arse...
Lemme know if anybody has a table they can bring though, I'd hate to spend money renting/buying tables when I'd rather spend it on Meat/Booze/Jeep :spin1:
 
I also have some folding saw horses if you have plywood, and about 1/2 dozen folding chairs :cheers:

it will be too early to unveil my first attempt at the all-grain kona firerock recipe for lesslimited, but I'll hafta whip up a couple quick partial grain batches.....

yeah...It's still a go...forgive me while I type through a haze of vicodin and demoral...got hospitalized wednesday at Swedish covenant and got discharged today...gonna be home from work all next week, so I guess I'll have a chance to do some more coordinating and yard improvement....
I just hope the weather cooperates as I'm planning everything around being outside...kinda hard to have a fire spinner indoors.....

Just an update....
Still hobbling around the house but should be back to speed by next week, good suggestions on the saw horses, I will find some plywood. Wondering if anyone has one of those free standing patio/lawn canopies to use/for sale in case Chicago weather gets goofy. I know the manly men will not mind some inclement weather but it's the bettys I'm looking out for.
On a different note, anyone interested in a mini-parts swap? I have an OEM chrome bumper w/ends off my '88 and a complete 258 block & head plus an extra 258 crank for anyone looking for a stroker project, parts for sale or swapping...What am I looking for purchasing or trade? Dunno..a Renix distributor, an aftermarket header, an eaton M-90, bigger axles, blah blah blah....
Lemme know what you guys got laying around you wanna get rid of...

Parts swap would be a cool addition. I have a D35 4.56 R&P, carrier and install kit, a XJ D35, D44 3.55 R&P/ carrier and a D30 3.07 paperweight set. Sounds like everyone's willing to pitch in to make it happen. Maybe when it gets closer the contribution list can get a little more formalized? Sounds like a great time...
