Finally got my rear tire carrier all weled up and powder coated and installed.
Just thought I would post up some pics.

I was wondering if the hi-lift jack will still work after someone bumps you at the Wal-mart parking lot.

i would box in the spindle where you welded it to bumper a little better but other than that it look awsome.

I don't know if you have big rocks like we do here in socal but a hi lift mounted like that wouldn't last 5 minutes on my rear bumper.
Like your tire choice as well. I have been running those same tires for a few months now & love em! Suckers hook up really good in all types terrain. People trip on the groove down the center of the tire & get asked why did I do that..lol

oh right I see yeah I can flip it over also.

yeah I like the tire's , they have preformed well for me. And the jack is not a slow as it looks in the pics. We will see if it hits may end up moving it when I get a roof basket?

Where did you source the spindle? Wheel plate looks like AtoZ Fab?

Can i see a better shot of your latch?

I'm having a bud help me fab something up soon.

looks awesome IMO, i like it alot! very nice

Looks nice, but I agree that the hi-lift is in danger. And if you drag that hi-lift it could mess up that bottom tube as well, depends on what you drag it on.

Anyway you could take the load off that spindle when its closed? Some of my CJ buddies have had those trailer spindles snap off on the trail. We figured it was from the weld messing with the heat treating.
