Rear storage/platform done!!! Finally!

What are those things that you use to secure it to the floor?

They look like regular turn buckle's that you can get from Lowes, Home Depot, most hardware stores. Great idea if you ask me so that you can take it all out if needed. Great job on the box.

Wow, thank you guys.

I could market as a kit or something but I dont have the time..ha. It would probably cost more than what most people would want to pay also after the time and materials costs. But maybe one day...ha.

Jeepfreak, Magimerlin is correct, just standard turnbuckles and "S" hooks from Lowes.

MuddyBeast, Ill get those pics up soon, but a quick descript...Each side of the front section has an eyebolt on it (like the rear section, except the eyebolts face outward). I run webbing through the seatbelt anchors in the floor to the eyebolts to hold it all down. When removing, I just undo the webbing, scoot the front seats all the way forward, slide the forward section forward, lift the front of the forward section up so that its resting on its back (having the front angled wall toward the ceiling and its sitting on its rear wall, 90* from what it is when its installed) and then slide it out one of the rear doorways. Thats it. I built it so that when the rear seatback is upright (for passenger use) the rear section sits perfectly against the back of the seatback. Then just install the seatbottom and your good to go for more passengers. If thats unclear let me know.

If anyone seriously wants some demensions, Ill be glad to post them up...let me know.

Thanks again guys!

That is one sharp box!! I wish I had the talent to make something like that. The finish work is outstanding!!! Great job!!

ha...not necessarily talent...just TIIIMMMEEE......Thanks a lot guys.

I misplaced my drawings and measurements but as soon as I find them Ill post them up.

Im very excited about this b/c its been about a year or longer from drawing plans to completion. Ive put well over 100 hrs into it with drawing, measuring, cutting, building, etc. etc. and Im very pleased. Comments welcome.
