Okay, I just might go with the quadratech ones, I need heavy duty, because I am going to put a better bumper on it.

Any one know how much lift these will supply or stock height with rough ride?
IIRC 7" arc how much will that settle with weight?

How hard is it to replace the front and rear springs? I know I need a spring compressor but besides that?

This is one thing that a Chiltons or Haines manuel will actually help on :wow:(If you have one). If not I can tell you how to do it. Its easy. Well the rear is easy the front can be well... fun at least it was for me.

You do not need a spring compressor.
Generally these are needed only for struts.
front is easy
expect rear to be very difficult unless veh is new and.or not rusty (bolts seize)
For old/rusty xj's it's best to add leafs to main leaf to avoid farking around cutting/grinding/etc if the leaf bolts do not come out.
