Previously coverd but I'll answer ya anyways. I am honestly running just a s**t load of sell tapping button heads lol. Baja xj molded his in it's on the introduction thread. Loose nuts also uses sell tappers. Then dzus fasteners. Duct tape works for a short time.

By the way the gc is lookin good

Check out autofab they have lots of nice stuff for mounting everything from hoods to fenders. If you don't see it on their website, call and talk to John, they have TONS of stuff not in a catalog or online.

Cache96: Did you want to keep the fenders removable for service, or did you want to stick them on permanently?

There's a system used by aircraft home-builders that uses piano hinge sections to make a hidden-fastener system for cowlings and covers. It's pretty labor intensive to fabricate, but when finished, the cowls have no visible external fasteners.
Here's links to a couple pics of finished aircraft.

Notice the split line at the intake opening with no fasteners down the side? 'Held together with an internal piano hinge. You reach inside, pull the pivot pin wire out, and the panels separate.
Here's links to a few construction photos, where you can see the work installing the hinge systems:

The hinge sections they use are an aircraft grade part, called AN257-PX or MS20257-X (where the X is a number, 2-5, denoting the flange width)
'Might give you some ideas.
