Anyone know of a company in the Central Valley (or California for that matter) that will incinerate and dispose of out state soil? It needs to be fired for ~2 minutes at 450 deg. F.

Thanks,

how much soil? Are you just looking for a hazardous material disposal site?

We have (I'm guessing here) about 5-7 55-gallon drums worth. In our agreement with the USDA to import soil, it needs to be fired when we dispose of it because its from out of state (for bugs, etc).

It doesn’t have to be truly incinerated, it just needs to be cooked at 450 deg. F (internal temperature) for 2 minutes, then its ok. We have too much to do onsite here in our little oven so I need to find a place that can handle this and I'm having trouble.

**Edit** I work at a research lab and we tested these soil samples for residues of a pesticide/herbicide/whateveryouwanttocallitcide. Its safe, the only reason it needs to be fired is because its from out of state.

Ship it back to where it came from.

Haha, we would but they wont take it back. We decided to have a lab assistant do it a little at a time in our little oven....poor girl. :D
