Rancho Rear Shocks

I went and got rear shocks from Rancho (RS5000's), but the end where it attatches to the axle doesn't fit even though the catalog says it should. There is a metal sleeve in the bushing that makes it too small. We punched it out, but the bushing shrinks and we're back to square one.

Am I missing something or just crazy?

its b/c the metal bushing from you original shock is still on there. dont even try pounding it off.......just but the rancho's on w/o the sleeve. itll work fine
