I gotcha, but I'm concerned with matching my springs to shocks, at least on the front end. I have RE springs, which I've heard are around 160lb/in and I recently got 7100 shocks that are 255/70 valving. I wanted much stiffer shocks, but poly sent me the wrong ones and I didn't have time to exchange them. The front feels pretty soft and rolls quite a bit around corners (no sway bar), so I just want something to match up the springs a little better to the shock valving I have now.
So my personal question is what setup matches up the best for overall ride quality? (lots of street driving and rock crawling, occasional go fast on the beach and through the green trails) Should I keep the valving I have now and get stiffer springs, like the 240lb/in from BDS? Keep my soft springs and revalve the shocks stiffer, like the 360/80 I originally ordered? Or change both to more stiff? And yes, I have a ~80lb bumper on the front with a steel cabled winch. Going fairly fast in the sand at the outer banks in August, I felt like the front end was wayyyy too soft and bottomed out quite a bit.
