HI, I've got a 94 XJ with an 8" lift and under the knuckle Ruggid Ridge HD steering set up. I know, I REALLY need to go over the knuckle. My question is, would I be able to buy two of these Knuckle inserts and flip my steering or would I run into more problems besides possibley moving my swaybar link mounts and track mounts? I'm kinda a novice when it comes to steering mods. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ricky

PS: I have a stock DANA 30 front axle incase that matter.

We welded in my Go-Fer-It OTK inserts back in October with the Rusty's steering. I had the original under-the-knuckle Rusty's steering. I believe their OTK steering doesn't have quite as large as a "box" on the tierod where the draglink connects.....I believe that is the only difference.

i run the goferit inserts with my rustys steering conversion flipped... been running it for the past 2 years with no problems.

p.s. this is on a trail only jeep. it doesnt see any road

i just did the goferit flip on the left side.i did have to cut the sway bar bracket off. but i dont run a sway bar.looks like i gained at least an inch plus clearace on the drag link.felt good on the road test. also noticed that my bump/compression steering wheel movements are a lot less.

Here is the insert welded into the drivers side knuckle, really easy mod, and gained a good amount of ground clearence. We mated this mod up with the ZJ V8 drag link conversion,a nd it looks really stout over the factory set up. We have not articualted the rig yet, but it seems like the sway bar brackets will need to be relocated higher. Not a huge deal...

Did you have to put another trac bar mount on? Been considering doing this for a while.
