Was surfing around crutchfield and saw these.

Has anyone used these? I was thinking of getting the 6.5in variety.

Also would this make it easier for the speakers to get wet and nasty from say daily use in inclement weather???

I don't plan on any river crossings.

Marine speakers will fix that problem! You plan on going doorless?

Marine speakers are a good idea. No I haven't thought about doorless but was mainly thinking about these because of component speakers.

Good thing I saw this. Been wanting to get more sound from the speakers when doorless.
You still need to buy speakers with this dont you.

I have a gray set(some of the gray has peeled and the natural black is showing) with one grill that haven't been used in two years if anyone's interested. The imaging is good with these, but ds side doesn't leave much room for your foot if you have a clutch pedal(why one grill is no longer).
