Marine speakers are a good idea. No I haven't thought about doorless but was mainly thinking about these because of component speakers.
 
Good thing I saw this. Been wanting to get more sound from the speakers when doorless.
You still need to buy speakers with this dont you.
 
Yea gotta buy speakers still. But definitely a cool concept.
 
I have a gray set(some of the gray has peeled and the natural black is showing) with one grill that haven't been used in two years if anyone's interested. The imaging is good with these, but ds side doesn't leave much room for your foot if you have a clutch pedal(why one grill is no longer).

Would you say that if you didn't have a clutch pedal there would be plenty of room?
