Well there's some townhouses up here and we looked at one about 3 weeks back and were a day late. So our agent sent out letters to all the other owners asking if they wanted to sell. One owner called him yesterday and we went and scoped it out. 2BR 1BA 2 car connected garage. She said she wanted 152 for it. We put in a bid and she took it. I normally wouldn't be a townhouse guy but there's only about 10 of them in the court and none have shared walls. Most look like summer homes so it'll be quiet. The monthly fees are 140 but it covers trash, snow removal and ANYTHING dealing with the exterior of the place (roof, treating the cedar, lawn, etc.). They want them all to look the same and they want to keep the court clean. You cant even work on a vehicle in the driveway. Kind of a PITA b/c mine probably wont fit in the garage but if I need to work on it I'll just have to take the tire off the top. We have a lease until July now but she doesn't wanna close until June 30. I will be having a gathering after we get settled.
