All 9 puppies are doing well.
Yesterday we had a major issue.
The neighbor goes out of town every now and then and we take care of his animals. Cat, dogs, and chickens...
He neglected to tell us that the dog was pregnant. I went down there to feed them and saw her laying there with 4 puppies...
After checking on all of them I heard wimpering from the woods. I went over to check to find that something had managed to get in the cage and drag a puppy off. It was still alive but had some serious wounds and was covered in maggots. Came back about an hour later and found another one in slightly worse condition but still alive. Boy, I tell ya it's hard to kill a newborn puppy...
