On a note that isn't going to sidetrack this thread; I got the holes drilled and tapped for the passenger rocker last night and fiddled around with the drill press some more. Unfortunately the bearings I need for the drill press are a specialty setup and haven't been made in over 30 years. :doh:
After calling around a few places and playing the guy who knows a guy told a guy deal, found a small shop in NJ that has a few NOS ones. Great! But the problem? $72.25ea, and I need a pair plus another for the pulley he's looking up the price on. Better than springing for a new one I guess.

It's a pimpin' linux penguin I think. I approve but I have no idea where to get stickers made in full color.

As for bearings - is there enough space you can use a spacer inside a larger bearing, then mill out the chassis to fit the outer race of the new bearing? Pretty mickey mouse if you ask me, but if it makes it work and use more standard bearings, I say go for it.

I got some things done on my XJ this weekend, but that is just minor compared to the super duper stuff that arrived in the packages I got today from RCV!

I can't begin to describe how awesome things things look and feel. They are way overboard for my build, but I'll never have to even think about them once they are in other than the occasional greasing.

I sprung for the optional nickel plating as well and they even went as far as to hand polish them before they sent them to me!
