Project Downward Spiral

Didn't get much of anything done this weekend as I went to LobsterFest '09 Saturday and had a wedding to attend on Sunday.
I did get a few new parts in though!

Beard Limit Straps (rear have since had tabs made and have been mounted):

The rest of my fuel system:

super duper. I might stop by and check stuff out soon. Maybe steal some of the stuff for running fuel lines. Thanks!! :gee:

Those limit straps are sweet. This thing is gonna be RIDICULOUS!

Yeah, I might stop by too. Where am I headed? :D

Seriously though - new parts orgasm. New hawtness is always good.

They are a thing of beauty. I almost don't want to get them dirty.

It is, until you have to pay for it. :(
Good thing is that there really isn't all that much left to buy other than front shafts and steering.

Neither of you are getting either of them. :D

On a more serious note, though, will you be doing anything this Saturday? I was thinking of going to a swap meet thing in NH but I can easily be available to come help you for the whole day if you'd like. I'm glad to hear your list of parts-to-buy is that short now!! That's great!

I'm glad they're right down the street from me.

I'll keep you posted.

I can only imagine the temptation to go and sit in every seat, that would have made it harder to pick out the ones I did I think :)

On a progress note; I got home from work today, quick dinner, and then hit the garage. I got the limit strap upper mounts complete (minus a gusset I've yet to weld in place), the axle pulled and finish welded, plus the rear floor structure done.
I wanted to make an even 'X' back there, but with the way that the limit strap mounts had to be made I wouldn't have been able to get a wrench up there so I had to bring in the upper part of the 'X', no big deal I think it'll be plenty strong. The area measures 25.5" x 32.5" in case anyone was wondering. The picture also shows the steps in the sheet metal needed to get it up the bottom of the hatch and sit flush with the adjoining piece that will be placed on top of the supports. I've still got a little more trimming where it goes past the replacement rails but I'm leaving that for tomorrow night.

Looking good Bill! I'll think of you while I'm at URE with my junk! :wave1: :D

Its from this
Carmelo made everyone watch it at Colin's grad party. They haven't stopped quoting it since.
I got through about the first 16sec of that and I'm done, not even going to waste my time.
You guys have some serious issues.

On another note, shopping for automotive paint isn't fun.

Have you figured out the color that your buggified Jeep is gonna be?
