let me make this clear
I AM NOT A DRUG USER OF ANY KIND!!!!
i had an interview today for a very well paying job, they have their own lab on site and decided to give an instant drug test, no problem right, WRONG.
I took the drug test and was awaiting my results when the nurse indicates she had an abnormality in one of the strips?????? so i'm like WTF so i ask what is abnormal it turns out to be a substance called Glutaraldehyde (i have no idea what it is) so i ask to write it down so i can Google it when i get home. as i do so I find that it is not a natural part of urine and that it is part of a way to fool drug tests into thinking it passed. The nurse said she didn't know what it was. also i found that Glutaraldehyde is a sign of Diabetes and metabolic problems. I had a kidney stone about 2 months ago and had blood and urine test and everything came back normal except my Cholesterol levels were high for bad cholesterol and low for good cholesterol, so my Dr. says i need to eat healthier and exercise and thats the end of it. I did not tamper with the test as i had no need to. i think if i had issues like diabetes or something like that my dr. would have noticed. the lab will call me by like tuesday to let me know whats going on. I thought mabye the soap i used in the shower prior to my interview got in my pee hole or something like that but i read that it is a dangerous substance and needs to be rinsed off thouroughly with SOAP and water for 15 mins. so that cancels that.
WTF is going on here, i'd hate to loose a great opportunity just because of some strange error
does anyone know more about this stuff?
