I'm headed to Raton this morning to cut a long rocky ravine up to the bluffs. We have a new Husky saw and a new Sthil pole chain saw to break in. It may wind up be one of the better trails. If you get bored and want to stop by call me 714-293-1067. I'm heading out @ 8:30 this morning if you want to ride shotgun. Sorry short notice. The park isn't worth a whole days effort to wheel it yet but after today would should have 3 good trails. And 2 hill climbs from hell!

Just a California Job. No pics yet. I need to get sombody to take some nice ones. The trail we cut didn't go so well. It's 5 plus rated and it made working in the rocks slow going. It has boulder climbs. I think with a few winching sections and care not to break then an XJ's on 35's would have a blast on the rest of it. I think we only cleared 350 yards. I spent part of the day looking at houses and property because I want to by a dirt cheap hut or a lot I can put one on. The houses in that town were built about 70 years ago. Anybody ever fool with a house that old? They scared me more than the trails. No ground plug on the recepticals and cracks in the foundations that won't let the doors open. Single pane windows and oil furnace. The one I liked the best was only 23K but I could not see inside. I herd it was horrible inside but for that price a dirt floor would be nice and at least it comes with lead paint! The park has tons of camping space and hotels are 40 bucks.
