pre96 euro bodykits

Over the years I noticed a few European jeeps sporting this kit. I can't stand the fender flares, but
I do like the fake brake ducts in the front bumper, and how the rear bumper cover surrounds the
exhaust tip. Now I wouldn't install any bodykit on my XJ, but at least this kit is palatable

love the bumpers and the side skirts but hate the fender flare extension, if only we could find some one that made a kit, it would be great.

I saw this kit once or twice on ebay.de (germany)
next time you see it, please post the link!!!

That looks kinda cool! Thanks for posting! Maybe it's just me, but I kinda like the front spoiler and extended fender flares look. ;)

i think there was a european xj package called Stealth, which is the black one. the spoiler gives it away

A mechanic I know down in Waldorf, MD was working on a Nascar(?) edition cherokee that had a blown computer. It was a gray 4 door with the similar ground effects as the red one above except without the ugly flares. It was an automatic with leather interior, sunroof, and a supercharger with the throttle body horizontal. I asked him about it and he said the owner was in jail and that I could have it for $2500, but I really wanted an ax15 so that's why I left it. He later sold that location and gave away the Jeep to whoever would take it (I found out a month too late). I might try to track it down to see about the S/C. . .

Oh yeah my bro yanked those charcoal seats and door panels just like the stealth's from a euro XJ. It's amazing to see how Chrysler put all the bells and whistles in the euro xjs to attract buyers used to that level of quality in other euro vehicles.

looks awesome so, where did you get the kit from?

thanks,i get it from my buddy because he lifted his xj and take the bodykit apart.

If only i could find a buddy like yours :banghead:

I think there were 110 British Stealth XJ's made. Whole vehicles sometimes come on http://www.ebay.co.uk that are being dismantled. The auction is usually just for a wheelnut but the seller lists their phone number if you are interested in other parts from the same vehicle. You may be able to find a complete used kit that way.

gentleman. I found someone on ebay Germany selling off the front and rear pieces, so load up the German
to English translator at http://babelfish.altavista.com/, and start begging the guy to ship outside Germany
(that's pretty much what I had to do for my projector foglights - beg)

Front bumper - Item Number: 300192365447
Rear bumper - Item Number: 300192368462

Thanks i have sent him an email using your translator, let's see what he says. thanks a lot for your help though.

no problem man. glad to help....
although this bodykit looks slightly different from the two I posted earlier and mudracer's. His has two cut-outs
for exhaust tips, and the one I just posted has a lope-sided rear cut-out along with missing front brake ducts.
It's becoming clear there were slight variations within the euro bodykit lineup.

.

I think i have to pass on this as the rear one has a tear, but they sure look cool.
