Prairie City Saturday 1/5/13

Lets think about the tax dollar comments, woulld you rather they figure out how to drive the humvees in war conditions? Yes they are having a great time "playing" out at prairie city, but they are also learning not to hydrolock the humvee while being shot at next time. No I'm not ex-military, nor do I agree with the wars we are in, but these are guys who may have never been off road before the signed up to risk their lives defending our country, imagine being hydrolocked in a field surrounded by people trying to kill you, talk about learning the hard way.

Well said.

I agree about the learning to drive, not in combat, but had I been their Sarg, I would have made them push the beast out of the pit by hand. Just to learn what happens when you exceed the abilities of your equipment.
Besides, nothing builds teamwork faster then a few pulled groins pushing a truck that your driver messed up.

Those guys would have been up to their a--es in mud remembering what not to do, not hopping into another rig while I cleaned up their mess.
