92XJ, 4.0L, just installed poweraid spacer. Nice product, but after installing the 1" spacers under the bracket, my valve cover breather hose can no longer be hooked up with the stock plastic tube. Can I use just a rubber hose from the box to the cover? Or did I even need to install the spacers?

You can use a length of 5/8" rubber heater hose and secure it in place with hose clamps at each end. You definitely need the spacers to lift the throttle cable bracket.

Dr. D...thanks for the info....I cut the plactic tub into just the straight section, and then connected it with some longer heater hose as you mentioned.

my jeep shifts weird with that spacer in place.. is that possible?

Yes it's possible especially if you forgot to install the three spacers that go under the throttle cable bracket to raise it by 1".

the problem is that I DID install these....
