Sorry, guess I'm just showing my age...I'm 44, not 17 :wave:.

Did the picture not show up? A tribble was a ball-of-fur alien animal on the old Star Trek TV series that was around before your parents probably ever hooked up.

To me, the pix are related--in appearance of the animal. I'm sure someone will post something that meets your "related to" criteria. Or should I have said "Ball of Fur... Ball of Fur" to make it clearer?

Whoah don't jump on my nuts tryin to be snarky. I remember that episode now. I am just as much a fan as you of the original shatner james kirk, maybe not as quite a detailed memory of every episode as you obviously have.

Trust me, I wasn't being snarky (you wouldn't want to see me being snarky--I'm good at it!!). Sorry if I came off that way to you. I have teens at home, and one in college, and I'm quite merciless with them--it's a well known fact; nothing's sacred--so I thought I'd toned it down a bit for you (since I don't know you). Guess I didn't tone it down enough :eye:.

I might've thrown in a little smartass, though. But I was defending my usage of the not-quite-related pic which it seemed you were objecting to .

I'm not an expert on old Star Treks, and far from being a Trekkie, but I have fond memories of watching a few with my dad (yeah, first runs...a dubious benefit of being born in '65). I just thought the Tribbles were soooooo cute! And someone brought up a Tribble joke in the last 6 months ago, so they're in my relatively recent memory.
