Poll IN pic Showcase

I am having problems with this. I created one fine in TEST and I have posted them before in MWC chapter and other places.

First time in Pic showcase and for some reason when I hit submit reply at the bottom it post the thread and does not give me the chance to create the poll

I am the mod there i think I should be able to atleast do this :huh:

This is beyond me... send a pm to Chixjeff or woody to see if they might be able to fix it. As far as I could tell, your permissions should allow you to start a new thread with a poll in the picture forum.

More than a little strange... even the forum admin pages claim you have poll permissions there. Time to play with an offline copy.

Even more wierd... I've got a copy from May, and your account behaves right there.

I looked at it and couldn't see any reason he couldn't.

I dislike tweaking individual user permissions, since they override the usergroups setup. (And I tend to forget who got what tweaks)

Individual overrides are a road to nightmares. We should avoid them if at all possible.

I've got a current copy of the site at home, and have ran into an unrelated issue that prevents me from testing your poll posting permissions. I'm gonna have to talk to the vBulletin crowd about this issue (it's actually a mySQL issue, but relates directly to vBulleting activity.)
