get a multi meter and check the continouty of the battery alternator connections and also check for voltage drop from the alternator.. you may have good contiouity.. but have a major voltage drop some where... think like a rubber hose.. continuty will tell you if the hose is in one peice and voltage drop is like a kink in it....no flow...
