I am tired of hearing the word 'thing' after the word Jeep. This also includes bumper stickers, stenciled lettering, and the billboard near my local Jeep dealership.
My $.02

it's the Jeep "thing" that i don't understand, like you i think this has lasted longer than the 2 to 3 hours that it should have.

OK that last line can stay. Well, at least long enough for me to use it once or twice. But alas, I too think the jeep 'Thing" is way played out. Hey, maybe someone could start a thread for new jeep slogans?

The "Jeep thing" was cool before DC embraced it...now it is just another clever marketing slogan. You want a new one? OK...how about..."Jeep...my junk cost more than your Porsche"

Queue Star-Trek music...

"Jeep. To boldly go where no one else can go..."

JEEP
Just Empty Every Pocket

Heard that one somewhere.

I admit, about 3 years ago I had a Jeep thing sticker. At the time it was cool and new.

After about 6 months it came off. I got tired of seeing posers and wannabees toting the sticker. I haven't looked back.

I'm also kinda annoyed by too many stickers (on anything) I think it's funny that some people become sticker Junkies..

don't try to impress me with the amount of stickers you have, impress me with your Jeep.

All of my stickers go on my tool boxes. I keep the stickers to a minimum on the Jeep.

DOD sticker
3d ID sticker (my combat unit)
NAXJA sticker
Armor branch insignia (my Job)

PS I saw a stock height TJ with a coffee can tailpipe, altezza taillights, and chrome/plastic foglights......

He Had the JEEP Thing sticker.:anon:

The current Jeep slogan is "Go where few have gone before" or the worst KJ ad ever that says "To a gearhead this is a centerfold" :bs: :puke:

I prefer "It's a Jeep thing... your girlfriend gets it"

In 20 years of Jeep ownership, I've NEVER displayed one of those attrocities.
I do, however, currently display "It's a jeep thing, Daimler doesn't understand" across my back window....just for the amusement factor that Liberties who get behind me get a pretty clear clear indication that not ALL of us accept the vehicle to the stable.

Hey, it beats the tire cover I was broadcasting....
(which, incidentally, will be making a comeback on either side of the new stepside.)
