Pit BULLS tires

No experience here. but awhile back petersons 4wd did a test on various M/T tires, pitbulls being one of them and they didn't give them a very good rating at all, kinda all show and no go type review on them. hope it helps!

I couldn't find that article, but I found one on the 44s, and they sure seemed to like them

Keep in mind, most mud tire tests Peterson's does are just that, MUD tests. Here's and example, but the rockers aren't in this one.

We carry a can of either with us at all times! low air pressure around 5 to 10psi in the snow in our case will have you popping the bead off all day it gets old very fast and running higher pressures to keep the bead on limits traction considerably. On the other hand if you have bead lock rims that would change everyting these tires are so tough you could then run even lower than 5psi.These are 35's on 15x10 rim's.Also bia's ply tires dont like to stay round and if parked for long periods will take some drive time for them to take shape again you haft to hang on untill the wobble goes away. The original owner of the tires gave them away to a guy in our group with 90% tread that should say something.Im not saying not to buy them they are supper tough in rocks but if you run low psi like us i strongly recomend bead lock rim's. And a bia's ply is not in my opinion a good road tire and should be used on a mostly off road rig.We just went on a snow run 2 weeks ago i run 35 bfg km's at 5 psi and was busting 3ft of fresh snow allday with no prob's while my buddy with the bull's broke the bead 4 times that day not on the same rim either. To say the least his 1st trip with the tires was disapointing. So this is our story hope it help's happy wheeling.

no complaints from the 39.5"s

dude that is a awesome MJ. What front axle you running? I mostly have muddy trail log climbs and such would the rocker do good on that because I wanna do rocks one day as well to.

Living in East TN, I take what I can as far as wheelin. The front axle is an HP D60 from an '03 F350, same out back in the form of a Sterling 10.5.

a buddy of mine has the Rockers in the 37" size under his TJ. They gripped nicely! I road shotgun with him in January and they performed very well, in spite of the snow. They did better on the ice covered rocks than competition Krawlers. We ran black trails all day and we went anywhere we wanted without pausing. I'll have to wait another month until we can run dry trails.

I love my Rockers but like it's been mentioned before I have trouble keeping them on the bead. I run mine on the street and I wouldn't do that again. Wore quickly and they will feather bad if you have anything loose in the front end. But when I can keep them on the bead they excel. Even at street pressure (25psi) they do well. If you are going to get them beadlock them and run them about 3psi and they work like you wouldn't belive.

What tire size rim combo do you run?

I run a 33x13.5x15 on a 15x8 crager soft 8. I have heard of quite a ew people that run this combo with no issues. I guess i'm one of the lucky ones.

That kinda surprises me. Was expecting a 10" rim with 12" tire size issue.

I bought the rims used so it maybe a rim issue. I've aired them down to 7psi and and did well burped some air in the right rear but was able to air back up. Aired them down to 7psi again and lost the right front bead completely. Next time out went down to 12psi and still lost the right front. So the last time out I didn't air down (25psi) and still lost the bead on the left front. So total I have lost 3 out of 4 beads and one twice.

I was going to take care of that with DIY Beadlocks this tax time but the motor got all knocky on me so that takes presidence. I'll get them done after I get the motor done and my wife calms down that I spent way to much.
