im new to the board and new to the XJ i have a white 1991 HO. im using it as a search and rescue vehicle for the sheriffs department. im located in oceano ca and im a 1/4 mile away from the entrance to the dunes. so if anybody is local to me in slo area or whatever let me know. you will see me running code 3 threw the dunes

Cool. I do Search & Rescue for the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. Is your XJ stock?

I took a survival class from a guy who teaches for the U.S. Special Forces. He stopped me when he saw my XJ and said that, "I've been in this business for a lot of years and the Cherokee is the best SAR vehicle bar none."

I think you'll be very happy with it.

its a 3" Pro Comp lift with 31's i bought it this way and for now its going to stay this way. but i do have some code 3 lights on the way from galls since we do alot of rescue's on the dunes. ill post some pics when i get them on.

What ,no Hummer??? only the state gets them I suppose. Better dip that puppy in a big pail of WD40. stuff dont last long around here. Now that terrorist/tourist season is over it will be slow eh? I havent hear a ambulance for weeks scraping the wounded from the sand.
