I know how to post a link but how do I get the picture to just automatically show up in my post. And can I put in a custom avatar??

See the yellow button under font size & color? Click it, put in the url of the pic, and voila. Notice the format of the text around the url, you can just type that as well.

Gotta be a member to have an avitar.
