Yep it's a Pinzgauer, that one is a 710-K(?) the Comm Truck, it has the hard top with the pop open turret hatch (seats 5, with a large Map table in front of the 2nd row seats) hard to come across . The 710-M was the rag top troop carrier (seats 2 in front and 10 in the rear). it was also avaible as a 6x6, the 712 series, as a troop carrier or abulance.
A few years ago he had a huge inventory of them from the Swiss Army, when they were replacing ther fleet with the new turbo diesel Pinzgauer. You could pick one up with about 5000 miles on the clock for around $4,000-$7,000. Now you can't find a crappy one under $10K.
im trying to upload a few vids from my phone even though they are only 16 seconds and seems like they aren't posting up on youtube is there a certain amount of time you have to wait?
it was an awesome day for wheelin a little chilly and way too many side by sides. the guy that was supposed to meet me up there, his truck broke down on the way up so he couldn't make it so we were all suck wheelin in my jeep. couple things were buggin me but didn't break anything. i lost a coil spring retainer and the pass side. my driver side coil was hitting the track bar mount? and there was a clicking on the pass side also. the begining of the trail was a blast... and so many parts to flex on it was unbelivable. next time i go i wanna have some bigger tires and a couple more rigs...
what do you mean by "harder" it seemed like a good trail for a beginer so we decided just to go...at first we went up and were gonna do the loop the way you guys did but we turned around to go find service on my cell and try callin up a guy that we knew... then we went back and wanted to see if the 4wd loop was open which it wasn't
