be careful cutting the plastic with a utility knife, only because it is very easy to get 'off course' and make a crappy cut.

I use a demel and followed a tape line I set out using the top of the fog light hole as a guide. Finished up with some light sandpaper on the edges.

I retained some of the air dam too, but not much.... matches the line I used to cut the end caps...
