I would like to give photoshop a whirl. Do you guys use a free version downloaded from somewhere? (If so where) Or do you fork over the $$for it? Any recomendations? TIA
Try out www.gimp.org for a similar freeware (open source). I have that loaded along with Photoshop 7.0 (legit copy ). I like them both, but for what I've been doing (all photo work) the Nikon software (Nikon Capture 4, $99) is the best.
Well, any free version will only be trial demos (to my knowledge). Unless you're a pro photographer, look into Photoshop Elements, it has everything you'll ever need and then some for a much more reasonable $99.99 for the CD-ROM and $89.99 if you download it from Adobe.
