Howdy ya'll,

Today I went wheelin' with "thechief86" at his local spot, and we had a blast. He brought out his Grand Wagoneer aka "the lifted short bus", and I got rough for an extended period with my XJ for the first time since I bought it a few months ago.

Here's a few pics of what ya'll missed to entice any people from Northern TN and Southern KY to join us in maybe 2 weeks for another trip.

Reply to this thread if anybody is interested and we can plan something for the next few weeks! There's also a 4x4 park that we're considering going to as well.

Dude, that looks like a perfectly good muffler :moon:. Looks beautiful out there. I sure do miss all that green... :rattle: Kuwait dosnt offer green like that. Well, it dosnt offer anything :wierd: All ive got to look at is sand and camels...

redneck, we miss you and appreciate you. this wheelin spot is where you tore your jeep up! this was short mountain. i didn't make it after the meet n' greet, because my junk wasn't running, and this is the first time i've been since i got it going again. these trails are close enough to my house that we left to go wheelin at around 6pm, did the main 'loop' and got back before it got too dark! i had a friggin blast!
the waggy performed flawlesssly, other than one spot where i bunged up my passenger quarter panel a bit tryin to squeeze between 2 trees to get around one that had fallen on the trail.
andy knocked his muffler off coming up the first rock garden area, but his new gastank skid proved handy! the horse riders had moved the concrete barriers back in front of that trail again, so i decided that we'd take the alternate route to get to that same spot. it's crazy how much fun wheelin is if you haven't been in a while!

I sure hope so, because I plan on clamping it back on over the weekend!

jeremy, i think we were planning on going to wooly's in august sometime. i'd like to shoot for the last weekend of the month or so. not really stone solid on that just yet, but i can do short mountain just about any day of the week. it's really close to me, and free!

I dont have to work next sat and would like to think about going for a ride on short mt, The wife is just about to have a baby like today so i cant go to far away :nono:

for sure, man! not sure if you've been there, but short mountain is on the other side of woodbury. i'll try to get ahold of brian and see if he's down, but he works a lot, and has a fairly new girlfriend that he spends a lot of time with, i'm sure. i do know that august 14th i'm leaving for savannah, georgia, but i think there's a weekend between then and now that we could go.
