pennsylvania road rules

Well I had a Moab cop specifically tell me that he could not ticket CO vehicles for no mud flaps. UT requires mud flaps, CO does not give a damn. If it was legal then UT state patrol would make their entire budget over Jeep safari.

So instead of all this hearsay, is there any actual legal links that would solve this?

I would suggest calling a state police barrex (sp??) and being honest. Your not in PA right now, so why not?? Or maybe start at www.state.pa.us and go to the DMV site and see if you can find anything.

i did that for him. please refer to earlier in the thread where they say they cant enforce pa laws on vehicles not registered in pa.

well, heres the update. i ended up just swapping over the skinnys for the trip, jsut to take away the most obvious reason to pull me over. i thought about going around as well, but it would've added a bunch of time. as it turns out, i don't think i saw 1 state offier clocking the entire trip. two times through and i saw maybe 3 or 4 with someone pulled over and the rest were directing traffic in the construction zones. of which there are many. thanx for the tips tho, it was appreciated.

LOL! I did read that, but as I stated in my 1st post PA cops will try, knowing that you will not return to PA to fight it. If you are going to drive through on that cops word, write down his name and carry it with you on your drive through. Like I said, check out http://www.siblingrivalry.com/blms01.html and it will explain what I mean. These guys have been ticketed a few times.
