Parting out an '88 XJ 4.0, auto, 4 door, blue interior 201k on the ticker the body is trashed except for the hood and pass side fender, good glass, pretty interior, would run with a good battery.

Side mirrors?

The glass is hanging off the pass side and the drivers side glass is there but the knob on the inside didn't move the mirror.

I think i'm going to have to pull the mirrors and check them out, lots of people have been interested in them but i'm not sure. The housings are good though.

Clock module (I have an idea for an experiment, and I need to prototype.
Does it have power windows? I need a set of switches and bezel panels... (for a four-door, so the DS panel would need to be a 6-place...)
What colour are the bumper caps, and are they in good shape? I have a use for a full set of four (as well as the little rubber "bumperettes" found on the fact, if you have those as well...)

This jeep is bone stock and has a set of 235 at's with maybe 1/2 tread of them and gold steel wheels.

3rd brake light
I don't believe it has a 3rd brake light attached to the glass

Door handles, if black.
They are black and i believe in good shape. As long as they will come off the jeep $10 a handle or $30 for all 4

The clock module is to the immediate right of the instrument panel. I'm planning a modification of the Adjustable MAP sensor with voltmeters for MAP input and HEGO output that should fit neatly in there, and I want one to play with.

What else have you got on the XJ? If no-one wants the door locks, I could use a spare pair of those as well (the lock cylinders themselves, where you put the key in...)

I could pull the lock cylinders i'd throw them in the the door handles if you want them. I pretty much have everything else off the xj besides what i've listed. I can e-mail some pics if you want. I have pretty much everthing interior wise besides the counsole. I'll put more stuff up with actual prices when i start taking the jeep apart tomorow when i can tell what condition the parts are in.

I'd probably be after a few other things (underdash electronics, wiring, &c.) but we'd probably have to work that out seperately... I've been trying to reverse engineer a few things, after a brief hiatus.

Okay, here goes...first, do you have the jeep at northern with you? Secondly, here is what I am thinking I would like, but I could come pick them up since Im at Tech. I could use:
New hood (what color is it?) (depending on price)
Front skid plate.
Passenger Side Stub Shaft
Do your rear lift gate shocks work?

Hey JJ, I'm up at northern MI university for school.

The jeep is in marquette MI in a garage up here.

The hood is in a pretty good shape and dark blue, paint is a little faded. How about $40 for the hood.

I was planning on selling the entire d30 for $100

I don't believe it has a front skid plate on it.

I don't know if the shocks work because i havn't gotten the tail gate to work yet.

The pass side rear tail light is busted and the drives side is in good shape and a multi color light instead of just red.

I need the entire tc shifter setup.....except for shift rod...The important part is the bracket that bolts to the underside of the trans hump.....asap

Minor delemia, I moved into my garage today, got the xj up on jack stands and went to fire up the grinder and pull the rear springs and no electricty. It should be turned on within the next couple of days but keep that in mind if you need stuff real soon since most of the stuff comming off this jeep needs electricty to get it off.
