over axle bracket

Anyone ever installed an over axle bracket on their d30? Is it ok if the spring rests on the bracket? The bracket is clear of drag ling at full turn, bracket is not 100 percent straight due to coils being too fat. I am more worried about the pressure the springs could put on bracket. Any suggestions. Help me out here DJ. :doh:

Yep, I made sure there was no contact between the spring and the bracket though.

C'mon brutha....... if you can weld on an OAB....... surely you can grind on it too.... make the clearance you need so the springs don't touch.

And yeah, I've installed 2 of 'em so I know exactly what you're talking about. Grind on it a bit.

What Troy said (he did mine). Just grind it down a little and you'll be good to go. I can't imagine you'll need to take off much at all. IIRC we didn't have to grind mine at all. But I do know it is tight, the thicker coils do make it a little more work.
