I was looking to upgrade from the 77, found the 85 and loved it. However, the XJ was not happy trying to stop the added weight. Pulling 1550lbs is no problem, trying to stop it is. Stock brakes and 35's dont help much. I'm looking for a cabover or a unit with electric brakes.
