Sounds good, but you might want to throw an e in that URL
As I'm sure I will need a new one as I progress on my build I look forward to your review!

OOPS...sorry, to late to edit it...mods, can you help fix the link?
thanks!

Ok follow up to my original post, James…the owner of Adams Driveshafts was unfamiliar with :NAXJA: so I gave him the URL to check out. He did (and signed up). I told him to check out the vender section about the possibility for becoming sponsor/vedor. Why not, he's got one hell of an XJ!
Anyway…
I received a call from James about 30 minutes after posting the first time. He was very thankful for me posting about his company and offered me 2 things. 1) free T shirt 2) an upgrade from the standard 2.5”OD to the super tuff 3” OD for free! He said that’s a $100 upgrade…free!

Honestly guys, I’d check him out VERY good guy. I haven’t received the DS yet but I’ll get pics, etc. up when I do.

I guess good people still exist in today’s struggling economy/market. James Adams with www.adamsdriveshaft.com is one of them.

I think his jeep looks really cool, but in all honesty, I don't really like the way his exo looks... I think it needs more tubing and a different design. Just doesn't look very strong. But... I love the decals on his jeep. I think it looks really really good! Sounds like a nice guy, let us know how it turns out!

Well, the DS came in this week. They made it and shipped it the same day. Looks VERY nice and durable, wont go into the specs b/c i've already done so in the earlier post, see above. Here's some pic of it. If you need a CV DS i'd check out Adams Driveshaft forsure!! :yelclap::yelclap:

Looks good let us know how it runs in the rig.

I'll do it, i'm redoing the front susp. so i'll be the weekend before i get to drive it.

That does look like a nice, do I say it............shaft.

Get your heads out of the gutter!!!

Are the CV cage and slip yoke cast or forged? I was just curious...

It looks nice and beefy for sure!

What do the slip splines look like? I bought Tom Woods when I got mine. He is a HUGE supporter of NAXJA. Has been for a long time. Let us know if this guy becomes a vendor.

Oya, if you look at the pics i pulled the slip yoke out then put it back on wrong...its correct now. I did this...not Adams DS.
I have a little problem taking things apart and putting them back together wrong!! oops!
Thanks James!

So... forged or cast? Lol. I am gonna be needing one for my truck soon so he might be an option if their parts are forged.

Sorry....awaiting specific details from the source! I'll post ASAP

Some of the parts in the driveshaft are forged and some are cast. There are some parts they only make in cast. All of these parts have been put to the test and there has not been any problems. Currantly we have three professinal rock crawlers using our shafts for two seasons now and no hard parts were broken. Please e-mail me if you have any more questions. Thanks James Adams owner of Adams Driveshaft.

BTW Adams is now a sponsor...support them, they support us! Been almost a year of beating on my shaft!! no problems at all. No not that kind of beating
