So I just finished up this logo I have been working on all week. And I think I am happy with it. I know all that really matters is if the customer is happy. But I like more feedback than that, so tell me what ya think.

Personally, it took me too long to read the Blackwater part of it. Pretty cool, otherwise.

I like it, i think "blackwater" being hard to read is just as it should be, since its "blackwater" lol. Good job man.

Dood........ what a terrible name for a company...... Isn't "black water" what backs up in your sewer and stinks to high hell? Makes me think they'll be fighting fires with stinky water......

If you've ever seen a puddle of water after it blasts through some sprinkler pipe, you'd know where the name came from. P.S. You are thinking of Gray Water, and the water in your picture looks like a day after some good chili.

Grey water is showers and laundry. Commode water has a different name I can't recall. Sprinkler water sits in pipes for years and gets as nasty as stagnet swamp water with dead bodys in it.

ya not easy on the eyes that "blackwater" part. You want the complany name to POP out night be hidden in the message.

I just do what I'm told...............:laugh3:

It also depends on the quality of your screen. It looks very dark on my 17" Dell at work. But you can make out the Blackwater very well on my Mac Studio Display. And if they ever choose to put in on a shirt that is not black, which I imagine they might. Then it won't be a problem at all. As far as all you Blackwater guys. If you are in the business, the name will make perfect sense. These guys aren't gonna think about sewers when they hear the Company Name.

Howabout:

A picture of a muscular arm - made totally out of water.
And the hand is grabbing and squeezing the life out of a flame of fire.

.

Or a picture of a man taking a swing at a fire with a sledgehammer - the tip of the slegehammer made out of water.

I got my degree in pre-press graphic technology and design. But I was in telecom data work to pay for school, and when I finished graphics didn’t pay jack chit so I stuck into the field tell the IT world burned down like Atlanta in the civil war. Marketing wise they tell you to aim at the name to be one of the first things you see not the last and if you have to look hard for it to get it then it’s going to loose something in translation. I do understand were your coming from. I did one of my internships with make a wish foundation and they were all about the cute fancy flashy chit all the time drove me nuts. I did what they want and then when it went to print they were like I don’t get it? WTF this is what you wanted. Hahahaha I had one wish for them and it was for them to pull their heads out of there arse just once for a breath of fresh air.

Presumably they want someone over the age of 15 to be able to read their name. :lecture:

I knew I would get that comment. :)
