Looks like a decent option at $125 to make the 2x6 sit easier and mount stronger. I need to do my rockers as they are severely destroyed by off roading so I've been looking around for option and ease.

I just did 2x6 rocker replacement. I used 2x2 1/8 angle iron to achieve the same idea. The angle iron was very inexpensive and was able to get it locally.

Is 2x6 going to stick out enough? I was considering 2x8 based on the video that Bleepin Jeep did.

125$ is way too much.

I didn't even run angle iron there. I notched the 2x6 where that seatbelt bolt sticks out and tucked it up a little higher. a couple stitch welds to keep it in place until the supports went on.

2x6 doesn't stick out a whole lot, but enough. add a "step tube" if you need more.

Seems to me, anyone capable of welding in replacement box rockers is more than capable of doing something similar with angle iron...

$125 is RETARDED.
