now I'd like to order a winch today, I know I know warns got the popular vote and I'v done tons of research seeing that ramsey comes in at a close 2nd place, but I wanted to see what you guys thought was a better winch and better deal for the money I have to spend...

Ramsey and Milemarker are both chinese parts - MM is T-Max...

my rig will have a ramsey - but a ramsey with the lifetime waranty... not sure what the REP series has...

Ramsey has that on some models...

others have the 1 year...

and the electronics arent coverd in that...

IF i were to buy a MM it would be a hydraulic winch...
 
I was mulling over those two same winches last week. Bought a used 8274 instead for about the same price.

Will see how it goes when I get it.
 
I bought a Milemarker and it was a huge mistake. It has a great pull but i don't have power out any more i've only had it for less than a year. My opinion save up and buy quality.
