This was my last wheeling/camping trip in Europe... Had a great time, met new friends, and came home in one piece. I am shipping my Jeep back to the states in a few weeks as we are getting ready to move back home, and this was my last trip with it while in the EU. Lots pictures, and cool rigs. This was in Bavaria in a little place called Langenaltheim. It was about 3.5 hours from my home. Its a shale rock quarry, and has some pretty gnarly hill climbs.
Enjoy....

Those 110's are sweet. Did you get more pics of that LC with the sleeper setup?

Whats the story on that one rig losing it's cargo box?

There are SO many 110's over here.... I cant wait to get back home so I wont be tempted to acquire one.

The LC was one sweet set-up. I didnt get more pics because I ran out of memory in the camera, so no more pics.

The rig that lost the sleeper was some random home built rig, honestly dont know what it was? Maybe an old mercedes? It was playing around in one section that had lots of holes, and the "rubber motor mounts" that he used to mount the box to the frame broke loose, and he lost the box. I was called over there to help winch it back on. I didnt get any pictures of the winching process, as I was working instead of snapping pictures, but it was a fiasco. Between my winch, 3 / 20 ft straps, a highlift, a lot of luck, about 15 people speaking at least 4 different languages, we got the box back on the frame, and almost lined up perfectly in about 20 minutes worth of work. It was a giant game of charades because of the language barriers, but when there was one common goal, I was impressed with how well it went. I was 'rewarded' an ice cold bottle of beer from the owner for the helping hand, and that is what kicked off the camping evening.

Its honestly pretty cool wheeling with this hugely different group of guys. Our common language is our vehicles!

Nice stuff stump. I love the 110's too. Hope your trip home is a safe one.

Yeah as much as i'm on NAXJA i should probably be one too! :D

Those are some great pics. I could not find a place to wheel when I was in Germany, plus I was afraid to go off road. I didn't want to pay for the blade of grass and all the other blades of grass that one I killed would have produced lol.
