Well, since the previous thread went nowhere and apparently caused a member to become a non-member...... :rolleyes:....... Let's start over.

Who's interested in meeting somewhere in Castle Rock - say 8pm at a bar/grill to be named tomorrow?

Anyone wanna get together, knock some suds back, talk XJ's and bullshit for a while as 2008 comes to an end?

Hey! Why kill the original thread? There were a number of people posting up that they'd like to get together this weekend. I'm sorry that wasn't your original intention Yella, but I don't think you should just wipe out everyone's posts. C'mon man...

Like any thread stays on focus the whole way through in this chapter. Goes left, goes right, goes right, then left and back on track. :rolleyes:

...............rinse and repeat, now I have to add conditioner. (since the delete hammer came down and the old thread is gone.)

I think it would be cool to meet up. I would like to meet some more of the guys off the forum but I have a 13 month old and a gentlemen I have to watch. So it depends on where this event is at and whether it is a family event. I probably won't drink as I am driving and won't stay too long cause my boy has the tolerance of an hour or so.

So who has the place and the time? :cheers:
 
A part of this G2G is to extend hospitality to our honored guest. If you can go and hang out, make Colorado proud!

Such as it is, I'll be home with my family on New Years eve, doing whatever grumpy old men think they should be doing.

Sorry to have missed you on this trip Ladywolf.

I expected someone would say something like that. I'll do that.

However, it's not just MY plans that were being discussed. Lots of people were showing interest in a weekend get together. All I'm trying to say is that I think it's kinda rude to delete 3 pages of posts where some plans were starting to be made, just because they weren't the plans he was looking for. :dunno: He could've just as easily posted up and brought the thread back on track without having to delete everything.

Okay, off my :soapbox: and on to a new thread!
 
I'm just gonna put this out there and you guys can do what you want with it:

There's a parking lot that's good for about 30 rigs at the trailhead that leads to Penis Rock. Don't worry...it's an easy hike and you guys should be able to make it just before midnight if you start a bit before 10. I'll be hanging out with my wife and the dogs tomorrow night but I wanted to pass that info along. :wave1:

Fawkin-a I tried. Original thread got muddied up, Jawa and philipg got their feelings hurt, more folks posted up that couldn't make it than could......

So, it's a no-go.

No worries - I hope all of you have a fantastic New Year's celebration, we'll see ya next year. Kris and I will figure something out. :thumbup:
